The WV Bar Foundation Board of Directors, a diverse group of three judges and twelve lawyers from all parts of the state and all types of law practice, wishes to express its sincere appreciation to all Bar Foundation Fellows, Bar Foundation Lifetime Members and all law offices and contributors for the generous donations and contributions that you have made which has enabled more than $300,000 in grants to be made to WV charitable entities since the first one was made in 2004!
With the approval of the Bar Foundation Public Service Scholarship at the WVU College of Law for the next academic year and with the successful 2015 Lunch and Laughs event, there have been more than 50 grants made in the past eleven years with 44 of those grants and more than $290,000 having accumulated since the Board gave top priority to grant making in 2008.
Your financial commitments have truly had a positive impact on the administration of justice and the provision of legal services for our men, women and children here in West Virginia.
Each of you is to be highly commended for enhancing our state’s system of justice!
