• WV Supreme Court of Appeals Opens the

    West Virginia Judicial Learning Center

    The West Virginia Bar Foundation is proud to support the WV Supreme Court of Appeals in funding the design and construction of its new Judicial Learning Center. This Judicial Learning Center is an innovative and interactive environment for school-aged children and other visitors to learn about the rule of law and the role of the judiciary as an independent branch of state government.

    Congratulations to the WV Supreme Court of Appeals on its Grand Opening of the West Virginia Judicial Learning Center on December 7, 2023! Visit the Center in person at the State Capitol’s East Wing, Third Floor.

    We provide grants to organizations around the state to improve the administration of justice. The most recent grants include $5,000 to Child Protect of Mercer County to fund its digital evidence management software, $5,000 to Davis Stuart to create a debate team for its youths, and $3,500 to Public Defender Services to create and distribute an informational brochure.

    Our three signature events during the year include the WV Bar Foundation Fellows Dinner, Lawyer Leadership Institute, and Lunch & Laughs with a Legal Legend.
