LUNCH AND LAUGHS WITH A LEGAL LEGEND
On November 2, the Lunch and Laughs with a Legal Legend event was held at the Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown. West Virginia University College of Law Dean Emeritus graciously agreed to serve as the honoree for this “friendly roast” that generated almost $15,000 for Law School student scholarships and Bar Foundation grants to improve the administration of justice.
Pictured above, from left to right, are former WVU President Neil Buckelew and the speakers at the Lunch—College of Law Associate Dean John Taylor, WVU President Emeritus and Professor of Law David Hardesty, Jr., Dean
Fisher, former WVU President and WVU College of Law Dean and current President of The Ohio State University, Gordon Gee and current WVU President James Clements.
The stories were funny, the jokes were humorous and Dean Fisher’s rebuttal was excellent. More than 120 judges, lawyers, community leaders and colleagues enjoyed this beneficial annual event. It was a Good Time for a
Good Cause!

END OF YEAR CONTRIBUTIONS
With Thanksgiving, “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” occurring in the next week, the holiday season is upon us! The end of the year is fast approaching which is the time when the vast majority of contributions and donations are made to worthwhile charitable organizations.
Please consider making a tax deductible contribution to the WV Bar Foundation so that the Board of Directors
can increase its strong commitment to assisting those activities in the state that improve the administration of justice and the provision of legal services in the areas of child abuse and neglect prevention, civic and law
related education and legal system scholarships.
You can easily make donations electronically on the Bar Foundation’s homepage on the new
website— www.wvbarfound.org  —-or send a check to WV Bar Foundation, P. O. Box 4845, Charleston, WV
25364.
Do it before December 31, 2012.
Thank You and Enjoy your Holiday Season!
