‘TIS THE SEASON FOR CONTINUING GOOD WORKS   If you are reading this right now, you are already in the category of those who are known for your good works.   Feel free to say “Thank You” to yourself for caring for your family; for stepping up when your community needs you; and for being a strong supporter of the wider good works of The West Virginia Bar Foundation.   As you already know, this time of year is an especially wonderful time. It’s when you get to see your loved ones, some of whom you haven’t gotten to see in months. It’s when your organization of faith bolsters your beliefs and, in return, asks you to assist those in need. It’s when you show up in your community to hand out food, to build a playground, or to help at a homeless shelter. It’s when your best nature comes out for the benefit of those around you.   When you are thanked in person for your efforts, you feel good. When your day’s work goes unnoticed, you still know that you have done the right thing. Thanks are not what matter; your inner satisfaction at the end of the day with knowing that you have done the right thing is what is important.   Please know that The West Virginia Bar Foundation is truly appreciative of you. Its efforts at philanthropy literally could not go forward without you – each of you.   The Officers and Board of the Foundation wish you a peaceful holiday season. You are appreciated and you are wished a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!     UPCOMING FOUNDATION DATES   Next Board Meeting – March 3, 2022 Fellows Banquet – April 21, 2022 Lawyers Leadership Institute – May 20-22, 2022 Lunch & Laughs with a Legal Legend – September 9, 2022     ‌     ‌   ‌     ‌     FacebookTwitterPinterest
