WEST VIRGINIA BAR ASSOCIATION – FELLOWS LUNCHEON On Friday, July 23, 2021, the West Virginia Bar Association very kindly hosted a luncheon at the Greenbrier for the Fellows of the ABA and the West Virginia Bar Foundation. Tessa White, the Executive Director of the WVBA, asked Deb Scudiere, the Executive Director of the WVBF, to provide the welcoming remarks to the attendees. It was such a pleasure to get to socialize with other West Virginia Fellows who practice their high standards and great leadership skills every day.   SEPTEMBER 10 – PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDAR FOR SOME LAUGHS AND LUNCH We hope that you will be able to join your friends at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown for the Annual Laughs and Lunch with a Legal Legend. This year we are privileged to be able to chat with, honor – and roast – our dear friend The Honorable Margaret L. Workman, retired Justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. This luncheon is always one of the highlights of the year and a chance for lawyers and Judges from all parts of the State to get together in a light-hearted gathering for the good work of the Foundation. Before you forget, send an e-mail to Deb Scudiere at debrascudiere@gmail.com saying that you and a guest will be joining us. “Be there or be square!”   CONGRATULATIONS TO PRESIDENT TINDER! We are so proud of our own Tom Tinder, who, on Saturday, July 31, 2021, was sworn in as the 2021-2022 President of the National Conference of Bar Foundations. Tom has taken his dedication to the work of bar foundations to the national level and is sure to take the projects of the NCBF up a notch. Take a moment when you can to send your congratulations to our own “Mr. President”!
