SPECIAL BAR FOUNDATION GRANT-
The Bar Foundation Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the awarding of a special grant which provided holiday gifts to vulnerable children in the Eastern Panhandle of the state. The grant application was a joint effort of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Eastern Panhandle program and the Eastern Panhandle Bar Charitable Foundation (EPBCF).
Pictured above, left to right, are CASA-EP Board member Karen Luttrell, and Kathy Santa Barbara and Lucien Lewin–who are leaders of the EPBCF with Kathy being a past WV Bar Foundation Board member and Lucien currently serving as a Board member. Both Kathy and Lucien are Bar Foundation Fellows.

It is only through the beneficial donations received by the WV Bar Foundation that these impactful grants can be made. You are to be commended for doing your good work!
WOW! Thank You-
The Bar Foundation and its Board of Directors are overwhelmed with the outpouring of charitable donations that have been received in response to the request for the end of year contributions to support Bar Foundation grants and programs!   The generous donations were from diverse members of the judiciary and the legal profession, all types of law practice and from across the state.
The generous donors were:   U.S. District Court Judge Fred Stamp and his wife, Joan-Wheeling Billy Atkins-Morgantown Dave and Commissioner Betsy Jividen-Wheeling Hank Lawrence-Bridgeport Professor Bob Bastress-Morgantown Bob Steptoe-Bridgeport Teresa Dumire-Morgantown Joe Beeson-Charleston Ken Gray-Morgantown Edward Knight-Lewisburg
In addition, Jessica Justice Stolarik and her husband, Brian, have made a significant donation in honor of Judge Ed Flowers and his wife, Ellie, a former Assistant Dean at the WVU College of Law, who were the honorees at the Lunch and Laughs With Legal Legends event held in late October.   Also, Tessa White, the Executive Director of the WV Bar Association, made a significant contribution in support of the We The People program which is a statewide civic education activity for elementary and secondary school students. The Bar Foundation is the fiscal agent for this beneficial constitutional program after many years of administrative and financial support.
Thank You to these kind and generous judicial, lawyer and community leaders!!
2021-
May 2021 be the best year ever for each of you and your families!
