Several philanthropic law firms and leadership organizations have already committed to supporting the 4th Lunch and Laughs With a Legal Legend event on Friday, October 17, at the Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. The honored guest for the “friendly roast” is WVU College of Law Professor Emeritus and extraordinary speaker, Forest “Jack” Bowman.

The proceeds from this worthwhile charitable activity will be distributed to Professor Bowman’s choice of the law student scholarship fund at the WVU College of Law and for Bar Foundation grants to improve the administration of justice, such as anti-bullying programs, child abuse and neglect prevention and civic education.

BAR FOUNDATION BOARD MEETING
The Bar Foundation Board  of Directors will hold its quarterly meeting on Thursday, September 18, at 12:00 Noon at the law offices of Flaherty Sensabaugh and Bonasso in Charleston.

President Steve White (South Charrleston) will chair the meeting and welcome four new Board members, all of whom are Bar Foundation Fellows:
