IMPROVING ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE
The WV Bar Foundation’s mission statement is to improve the administration of justice and the provision of legal services to West Virginia’s citizens. The Board of Directors, a diverse group of three judges and twelve lawyers from all parts of the state and all types of law practice, is committed to justice for all. Its primary activity is to provide grants to worthwhile organizations to meet its mission and to educate citizens about their rights and responsibilities under the law in West Virginia. During the current critical times involving racial equality, police brutality, virus pandemic, civil unrest and breakdowns in interpersonal relationships, the Bar Foundation will listen and work with individuals and groups to make the changes and advancements needed to have the best West Virginia for our men, women and children.
