BAR FOUNDATION WEBSITE

The Bar Foundation’s website—-wvbarfound.org—has been modified and updated!

The recently approved 2015-16 Financial Audit and Internal Revenue Service Form 990 are added, so that a total of the past five years of audited financial records is available for review by the public. Every audit since the Bar Foundation’s inception in 1988 has been a clean audit.

Photos and information regarding the Bar Foundation’s two newest events, the Lunch and Laughs With a Legal Legend and the Lawyer Leadership Institute, sponsored in 2017 by Antero Resources Corporation, have been included to complement the well known Bar Foundation Fellows program.

The mission of the Bar Foundation, which is to improve the administration of justice and the provision of legal services to West Virginia’s citizens, continues to be highlighted on the website with the successful Grants program. More than 60 grants totaling more than $350,000 have been provided to worthwhile charitable organizations to fulfill the mission.
