FUTURE PHILANTHROPY-

The WV Bar Foundation is the philanthropic organization for the legal profession and the justice system here in West Virginia.

The Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors recently made an important Justice Fund grant to ensure that there is a bright future for philanthropy in our state by supporting the Legal and Policy Fellowship involving the Philanthropy WV statewide group of corporate, community, family and private foundations in cooperation with the WVU College of Law.

A well qualified WVU law student will serve as a Fellow to conduct  research programs and activities in the areas of legal and philanthropic endeavors. Working under the supervision of WVU Law School Professor Elaine Wilson and PWV President Paul Daugherty, the selected student will further the progress in the administration of justice and the provision of legal services to WV’s citizens.

Congratulations to Philanthropy WV and to the WVU College of Law as they move forward with this innovative endeavor!

JUSTICE FUND DONATIONS/CONTRIBUTIONS

A recent report confirms that 94% of all Americans did a philanthropic act in the past year.              It has also been reported that 28% of all donations and contributions are made each year during the month of December!

As you consider giving money to charitable organizations at this time of the year, we hope that you will make a tax deductible payment to the WV Bar Foundation Justice Fund. Your funds will be used tp provide grants to further the mission of improving the administration of justice and the provision of legal services to WV’s citizens.

Donations can be made by check to the Justice Fund (WV Bar Foundation, P.O. Box 4845, Charleston, WV 25364) or use your credit/debit card through the simple PayPal donation process on the Bar Foundation’s website—-wvbarfound.org

Please give to support Justice Fund grants!
