LAW SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
The WV Bar Foundation held a very successful 4th Annual Lunch and Laughs With a Legal Legend event on October 17, when the honored guest was WVU College of Law Professor Emeritus Forest “Jack” Bowman.
Professor Emeritus Bowman selected student scholarships at the Law School as his designated choice to receive the 50% share of the net proceeds from the Lunch–the other 50% is dedicated to the provision of Bar Foundation grants to improve the administration of justice. Pictured above, on the left, is Professor Emeritus Bowman presenting a check in the amount of $10,179 to College of Law Interim Dean Greg Bowman.
The four Lunch and Laughs events have generated more than $43,000 to support important student law related activities at the College of Law.
