During 2014, the WV Bar Foundation will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of its inception on December 30, 1988.
The Bar Foundation Board of Directors, which consists of 15 judges and lawyers from all parts of the state and all types of law practice, is excited to announce that Bob Noone will present his “legal music” show as a special part of the Bar Foundation Fellows Dinner set for Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Marriott Hotel in Charleston.
Called the “Perry Mason of Parody”, Bob and his group, the Well Hung Jury, are known throughout WV and around the country for their popular songs and music with law related lyrics. Some of his classic songs relate to the McDonald’s hot coffee case and lawyer advertising mixed in with current favorites regarding Edward Snowden and the Anthony Weiner Sing-a-long Tweet song. He includes songs concerning his experiences from his decades long law practice in LA (Logan Area, WV).

LAWYER LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
The WV Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors announces the third Lawyer Leadership Institute to be held on May 16-18, 2014, at the Stonewall Resort near Weston.
Participation in the Institute will be limited to twelve newer lawyers (admitted to the practice of law for ten years or less) who will have the opportunity to learn from outstanding members of the judiciary and the legal profession regarding education and professional training that will enable them to become leaders in the legal profession, in their communities and in the State. They will receive expert presentations on service skills, leadership traits, professionalism and civil discourse through participation in interactive sessions, networking opportunities and interpersonal relationship building in an informal atmosphere.
The first two LLI events have been overwhelmingly successful with participants’ comments such as:

Very Informative.
Really enjoyed the ability to interact with fellow participants and speakers.
Also enjoyed the small size of the group.
A great experience.
Appropriate topics for young lawyers.
Perfect mixture of speaking times, breaks and free time.

The cost is $499 per person, which includes two nights lodging at Stonewall Resort, five meals, and all materials, as well as application will be made for twelve hours of continuing legal education credits, with at least three hours of legal ethics credits.
Please contact the WV Bar Foundation to reserve your place——Tom Tinder—(304)-343-9823, tom@wvbarfoundation.org or WV Bar Foundation, P. O. Box 4845, Charleston, WV 25364.
