The tax deductible donations which are made to the WV Bar Foundation each year enable the Board of Directors to make valuable grants to worthwhile charitable organizations in West Virginia to improve the administration of justice and the provision of legal services to our citizens.
Since 2008, more than $200,000 has been provided through thirty-five five grants, including legal services for low income citizens, student legal clinics, law related education, law student scholarships and more.
You can easily make donations electronically on the Bar Foundation’s homepage on the new website— www.wvbarfound.org —-or send a check to WV Bar Foundation, P. O. Box 4845, Charleston, WV 25364.
Do it by December 31, 2013 and earn a tax deduction this year.
Help the Bar Foundation help our men, women and children during their time of need.
10% CONTRIBUTIONS MADE ON DECEMBER 29-30-31
Numerous reports show that 10% of all charitable contributions made during the year are done on the last three days—December 29, 30 and 31!
