Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 27, is Giving Tuesday!
After Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is the internationally recognized day for everyone to support their favorite charitable organizations.
There are three reasons for YOU to consider giving a tax deductible donation to support the Bar Foundation’s Justice Fund:

Your money will be used solely to make grants to worthwhile WV organizations to improve the administration of justice; such as law student scholarships, child abuse and neglect prevention (including cases involving the opioid crisis), public education, legal services for low income citizens and the Lawyer Assistance Program.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The WV Bar Foundation Board of Directors will hold its quarterly meeting by telephone conference call on Thursday, December 6, at 12:00 Noon.
The Board, consisting of three judges and twelve lawyers, has an extensive agenda with numerous actions to be considered regarding finances, activities, the Bar Foundation Fellows program and the Justice Fund.
The Board members volunteer their time and expertise and are from all parts of West Virginia and all types of law practice.

COMMITTEE MEETINGS
In preparation for the Bar Foundation Board of Directors meeting, the various Committees have held or will hold meetings.
These Committees include the Audit Committee, consisting of the Officers, who review the annual independent financial report and IRS Form 990; the Strategic Planning Committee to recommend future activities; and the Bar Foundation Fellows Nominating Committee.
These meetings are held by telephone conference call to handle the Bar Foundation’s business in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
